âDavid said to the Philistine⊠âYou come against me with sword and spear⊠but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty.ââ
1 Samuel 17:45
Do You Ever Feel Too Small to Make a Difference?
Maybe youâve heard adults say, âYouâre too young,â or âWait until youâre older.â But hereâs the truth: God doesnât wait for people to grow up to use themâHe uses kids and teens right now!
Thatâs what happened with David. He wasnât a soldier, or a king, or even grown up. He was a shepherd boyâbut he had huge faith.
đȘš David vs. Goliath
David stepped up when everyone else was too afraid. A giant named Goliath was scaring Godâs people. He was big, loud, and dangerous. But David knew something Goliath didnât: God is bigger than any giant.
Armed with a slingshot, five smooth stones, and unshakable trust in God, David ran into battleâand won.
đ„ Youâre Not Too Young for God
God has always used young people:
- Joseph was just a teen when God gave him big dreams.
- Miriam helped save her baby brother Moses.
- Mary was a teenager when she was chosen to be Jesusâ mother.
And He wants to use YOU tooâto be kind, brave, creative, and full of love.
đ 3 Ways to Be Mighty With God
- Believe big â Trust God even when things seem impossible.
- Speak up for good â Your voice matters. Use it for truth and kindness.
- Be ready â God can use you anytime, anywhereâso stay close to Him in prayer and reading His Word.
Final Thought đ
You may be small in size, but with God on your side, youâre strong, mighty, and full of purpose.
So hold your head high, sling your faith like David, and get readyâbecause God can do great things through YOU!
